In addition to what I planned, I found a plugin that allows you to adequately add chat to the stream so that it looks beautiful. I ended up streaming first and spent a whopping 37 minutes setting up this browser plugin. also during the stream, for some reason, this chat plugin stopped working and we need to figure out why this happened. But in the instance itself, everything was fine, except that after the stream, I noticed that the video was incredibly large. I need to think about this moment so that the size of the video after any streams is smaller, but without transcoding enabled, I still don’t know how to solve this problem.
I was given the idea that I could use my PeerTube instance to stream. Since I despise YouTube and Twitch, and Glimesh is unstable for me, I can simply restore the ability to stream on my instance and link to these streams. Plus, I will have the opportunity to really test the capabilities of the PeerTube platform on such a weak processor.
To do this, I sorted out the problems I had so that I could get the external addresses of people connecting to my instance (for analytics), and added plugins for live chat and video chapters. Interestingly, the live chat plugin allows me to free my hands from mandatory registration and allows completely unregistered users to communicate, which I find very convenient. The disadvantage is that for the message archive I don’t want to deploy an additional server at all and after the streams the chats will be completely destroyed, but at the moment this is absolutely not important and will not cause inconvenience.
Yesterday I had a need to show a person how the game Armored Core 6 is played with the help of a stream (and I myself wanted to show this game). Of course, I wouldn’t go to “Twitch” or “YouTube”, I wouldn’t go because I hating these platforms, and “Glimesh” streaming platform on which I settled is still quite unstable, I decided to use my PeerTube instance, which I have deployed for all my friends and communities in which I actively participate (1-2 communities. Yes, very few, but nevertheless I am ready to provide them with my resources of my modest home nas server). And I ran into a problem that I didn’t want to solve for a very long time, because I didn’t need it and no one uses my services except me. Stream categorically refused to start. As it turned out after almost the whole day, my service simply did not support the codec in which I tried to stream it and because of this an error occurred (I just spent a day to finally learn how to watch PeerTube logs). Also, during the stream, in addition, it turned out that my server was so weak that it was not able to render a live broadcast in the required resolution for a long time, and after a while, due to overload, it dropped the connection and flatly refused any streams for a couple of minutes until it cleared all the previous ones frames. As a result, I turned off rendering for broadcasts and my broadcast server began to feel much better. Plus, while searching for the first problem, I corrected a couple of proxy settings (removed this setting despite the fact that I have a docker container in the bridge through my server's proxy) and now my PeerTube instance again sees external IP addresses from which people come in, which brought back the possibility of analytics on the instance.
Armored Core 6 is finally out. I really liked it and my expectations coincided with what I see in this game. For now, I will only play this game and no others, and I really hope to get to the network functionality of this game as soon as possible. So far, judging by the complexity of the bosses in this game, I have a strong feeling that in a multiplayer game I will really suffer and playing with all these difficulties simply prepares you to really decide for yourself exactly how you want to see your mechanoid and how exactly you it will be more convenient to play in a network game.
I was not hired for a new job because some person at the very top did not like me. But maybe I'll get a much better job. You just have to wait again (less time this time) until the person in the campaign comes out of sick leave to call me for an interview.
I again fell ill with tinea versicolor. For me, this is a fairly common thing, since I get it in a particular season when it's hot and when I generally start to sweat a lot (but not every year). My mother found an old list of medicines that I was treated with the previous time, and this time I saved this list to myself in notes on my server. Now it won't be forgotten.
I just found the ability to make pins from posts. In this case, these pins disappear. It is very convenient to make informative posts for a sufficiently long period of time or on a permanent basis. I will just use this to duplicate my links to the sites that I have deployed on my server.
Finally, I deleted the virtual machine with the “beep” platform that I chose for my microblog. This platform really did not suit me for many things. Starting from a very crooked console interface in the administrator to change the description on different pages and ending with the fact that posts are deleted for no apparent reason. I also had to keep a virtual machine for this platform, since this platform is written in the GO language, and I really didn’t want to waste time creating a docker container for this. Yes, and for this I would still need a virtual machine, because I would not want to crap on my server.
The moment has finally come to completely abandon the “Honk” platform. At the end of this working week, I will stop this platform on my server because the “WriteFreely” platform looks really stable to me and much better visually. Also, I still really hope that in the future “WriteFreely” will not start to lose the posts that I wrote for unknown reasons.
Yay, I feels that the weather starts getting colder and the wind starts softly blowing with a pleasant coolness. I feels better now and I hope that I will have more power for care about myself to feels more better.
